There have been a few slight changes made to the submissions guidelines, and the page itself has been formatted so that is a bit easier to read. Please read the guidelines before you submit your work.
We’ve been talking about it for months, and here it is: the Thoughtsmith literary blog. Over the next few weeks, starting next Monday, each of the editors will be posting introductions, posts which will serve to give you a better feel for each of our editors beyond the information contained in their bios. Next week, Erienne, Jonathan, and I will be posting, and in the week following that, Seth and Kat introduce themselves. In honor of National Poetry Month, we will also be providing some of our favorite poems for your enjoyment.
In addition, I would like to remind all of our readers and possible submittors that we’re committed to expanding Thoughtsmith’s reading base through every medium possible. We know that your work is important to you, and we want to assure you that our continued goal is the widest distribution possible of the works contained within our issues. In 2011, we had over 16,000 unique visitors from all over the globe, and we want to expand that number to over 25,000 in 2012 (and up from there).
As promised, the Winter 2011-2012 issue of Thoughtsmith is now available. Please, check it out! Also, stay tuned over the next few weeks for the introduction (finally) of our Thoughtsmith blog. I would also like to take this moment to officially welcome our newest editor, Jonathan Hall, to the Thoughtsmith team. Jonathan was added, without due fanfare, to [...]

A big thank you to everyone who submitted work to be considered for the 2.4 issue of Thoughtsmith. Our reading period closed at 11:59pm EST last night, and we’ve begun the final selection process. Since we’ve been reading as submissions have come in throughout the reading period, we’re already a good way through the process, [...]
